Train & Rail 2025

High ratings from the participants at Train & Rail

In April 2023, Train & Rail finally premiered in Stockholm. The event received high praise from participants and attendees. "Very satisfied," "beyond expectations," and "we will definitely come back" are some of the reviews.

Sweden has a significant need for investments in railways and infrastructure. At the same time, the industry has long been calling for a new platform where the most important railway and transportation issues of the future can be discussed. That's why Train & Rail was created—a meeting place organized by Swedtrain and Stockholmsmässan in collaboration with Järnvägsentreprenörerna, NJS, Spårvagnsstäderna, Svensk Kollektivtrafik, Swerig, and Tågföretagen.

Kristina Nyquist
Kristina Nyqvist - CEO, Siemens Mobility AB.

One of the participating companies this spring was Siemens Mobility, a player that has been delivering transportation solutions for over 160 years.

"As a company, participating in Train & Rail was highly beneficial for us. It allowed us to strengthen our relationships with partners and customers, initiate new discussions with potential collaborators, and cultivate our connections within the Swedish railway industry," says Kristina Nyquist, CEO of Siemens Mobility in Sweden.

Siemens Mobility's operations encompass trains, locomotives, signaling systems, and railway electrification. The company offers a wide range of solutions, from trams and local railways to subways, commuter trains, regional trains, and high-speed trains.

"We were very pleased to have a stand at the exhibition. It is highly likely that we will participate again in 2025."

Fredrik Lindberg
Fredrik Lindberg - Sales Manager for Train Products at Awi Maskin.

Another satisfied participant was Fredrik Lindberg, the Sales Manager for train products at Awi Maskin, a company that offers equipment for the construction, inspection, and maintenance of railways.

"The exhibition was excellent, exceeding our expectations. There was a substantial number of visitors, and our stand had a continuous flow of attendees, which was very positive. I would expect that we will participate again in 2025, possibly with a larger stand," says Fredrik Lindberg.

The fact that Train & Rail is organized in Stockholm is a good fit for Awi Maskin.
"Our customers are often located in Stockholm and the Mälardalen region, so it was convenient for them to attend the exhbition."

Britt-Inger Garsäter
Britt-Inger Garsäter - CEO, BS Verkstäder.

Britt-Inger Garsäter, CEO of BS Verkstäder, also appreciates the exhibitions geographical location.
"Many of our clients have offices there. This allowed more of them to attend and have more time to be present," she says.

BS Verkstäder was founded in 1978, and since the early 1990s, their main focus has been on extending the lifetime of railway vehicles.
"We attended the exhibition because it seemed to have a great concept with an interesting mix of exhibitors and an ambitious setup. It turned out to be excellent!"

It was very rewarding for us, and we met so many people that we barely had time to see anything else at the exhibition. We hope that the exhibition grows for the next time and has more exhibitors and a larger exhibition area with better opportunities to showcase machinery.

"We definitely plan to participate in 2025," says Britt-Inger Garsäter.

Bertrand Gryspeert
Bertrand Gryspeert - CEO, Vossloh Cogifer.

Vossloh is one of the world's leading companies in the field of railway switches and track technology. Participating at Train & Rail was a natural choice.

"We had important meetings with customers and collaborators at all levels, from the workshop floor to the boardroom. Everything with Stockholmsmässan was excellent and straightforward," says Bertrand Gryspeert, CEO of Vossloh Nordic.

"We will participate again in 2025," he concludes.
