The transportation industry in the Sweden/European Union is facing a talent shortage in the area of data science and analysis. Digital solutions and concepts such as data-driven asset management and business intelligence are necessary for the industry's transformation, but there is a lack of needed competencies to drive transformaiton. The industry needs to focus on improving data literacy across the board, and there is a need to provide data analysts with knowledge about transportation.
